Good ramen, friendly staff, open late :)
Interesting fusion menu. Great combination. Nice and cozy place
Won’t recommend coffee mocha, but Unagi Bento and Salmon Bowl are good.
Rating this place 1 star is generous, Me and my associate went there for lunch where we were the only 2 people in the "cafe" the food took too long as well as being extremely over priced, I have personal experienced better airplane food and not had to pay close to 100 dollars for it.
Review for fried chicken - horrible. Just regular fried chicken, not double fried as it should be, with a sauce that had no flavour (sweet and spicy). Also it was severely overpriced.
Very expensive. $28 for a small fried chicken dish with a can of coke. Yes it's Manuka but prices like this are outrageous. Dinner prices at lunch. No thanks.
Recommend it. Went there for several times, they have a variety of dishes, really tasty. The boss is really friendly and hospitable, good service. This is the first time I write for a five-star comment, they deserve it.
Ramen looks simple. Wait until you sip the broth.
Excellent fried chicken and bento boxes, a hidden gem!
I was hungry and I wanted so food. :)
Absolutely upset with choosing this place as a destination place for our dinner. Firstly, no one understands English. We tried to explain no sea food in the ramen and finally they agreed to no sea food. We also ordered kimchi fried rice with it. After having the rice halfway through which was not good at all, we wondered why the ramen hadn't come. Seems like they didn't take the order for ramen!!! Very upset not recommended at all. Unnecessarily expensive as well. We were there around 6.15pm yesterday 27th August.
Prepare yourself for one of the quirkiest experiences you are going to have for a while! As a basis of a japanese cafe with plenty of simple bentos and some poke/ rice bowls, it has a few classic dishes such as pork cutlet or japanese omelet. THEN it also throws in some ramen and some korean dishes with little twists including the multi fried chicken. The cheese option is particularly enticing. THEN it also throws in some dumplings, breakfast and some fish and chips... 🤯 mind blown. Prices are decent for the portion sizes and the staff are very friendly. Location is inside the shopping mall. Friendly for yummy mummies pateonage as well due to its layout as you can see on pictures.
Love this place. Food and service are always great. I willing drive more than an hour just to eat here. Never a bad experience.
BEST FOOD IN TOWN. Worth every penny. This is the perfect restaurant.
The experience in this restaurant is awful. First, we order two meal and wait about 20mins. Then, the chicken is overcooked and the beef is cold. The whole meal is too salty and vegetable is unfresh. Also, the service there is terrible, the waiter just keep looking at his phone and forget to bring the soup that we ordered. Overall, I am so disappointed to this restaurant and will never come back again.
Staff was helpful. Food was delicious.
I've always been a Japanese food lover. I came across this place just to try since it's pretty new.The fried chicken is a big W trust me. Definitely their best. Their coffee was also surprisingly good, even if I'm quite picky on that. (seems like a weird combo i know, but i really felt like it that moment) Overall, this place definitely adds a solid option for those who like japanese snack/food, or even coffee. BTW, staff was also very nice
Love the Korean fried chicken here and the salad is wonderful
Literally the best Benedict that I have ever had in Canberra ( one is bacon n egg and another one is smoked salmon egg). I randomly walked in to the cafe and got so surprised by the taste. Rlly rlly recommend these two dishes, worth to try:-) Also, thank you for the service XD, I would definitely come back for more food next time😊
The menu has a great variety of quality Korean and Japanese food, so much to choose from!! One of the best cuisine I ever tasted here in Canberra. Cafe is definitely family friendly, also being surrounded by a variety of plants. Staff was very friendly and even offered us a family photo. I would recommend the Korea Fried Chicken and Bento Bulgogi Beef. A must try if you haven't been here before. I really enjoyed the friendly environment and delicious food. I would definitely recommend eating here again. :)
Nice and friendly restaurant! Great food😋
Best Japanese cuisine in Canberra~ love it
The boss is kind and we take our children with us, and the children are happy to eat!
Best place to have sushi bowl in Canberra. Great food with great price! Will definitely visit again!
Great coffee with a nice price! The stuff are rly patient and caring. Highly recommend this cafe.
Absolutely fantastic service and food.
The atmosphere is really great and the food is the tastiest in Canberra! I would personally recommend the spicy fried chicken. If you haven’t been here you MUST try!! I will definitely come back.
Super welcoming environment and the feels are great! The food is also delicious and the staff are super friendly! Must visit!!
The food taste delicious and the take on the Japanese food is the best in Canberra especially for its price! The owner and staff is super friendly! Must visit!!!
The food was very delicious and the owner was extremely kind and welcoming! I would personally recommend the teriyaki bento box, the teriyaki is delicious and the miso soup goes well with the entire set! I highly recommend trying this place and is super underrated!
Owner is extremely kind and welcoming and the food is one of the best in Canberra!! The food also came within 10 mins or less and overall would recommend! Very underrated store
I love this place, it’s always such a relaxed environment with attentive service. They do the tastiest and most decently priced ($8 or $10 with a coffee) bacon and egg rolls in Manuka for sure ! Can also highly recommend the Korean fried chicken !
Cheap Japanese? In Manuka? Believe it! Simple, relaxed cafe. Staff are attentive. Quality menu. Soba noodle is first class.
Seafood basket was delicious. The sushi bowl was decent but felt it could have used better rice. Tasted like normal medium grain instead of sushi rice. Staff was very friendly.
Kimchi fried rice is amazing!!
The bulgogi beef burger with deep fried rice patty replacing the bun is a secret off menu item, definitely worth asking for. Korean fried chicken is great too. Friendly helpful staff n nice atmosphere.
Found a hidden little treasure in Manuka village. Its a Japanese fusion cafe. I had a potato and egg sandwich and coffee. It was delicious and waitstaff are super informative and friendly. Will visit there again and try their food for dinner.
A new cafe that has the same decor as the previous cafe but a completely different menu. Staff was very friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. Rather than traditional Japanese food they serve ‘fusion’ Japanese food and other Korean and Western dishes. As a Japanese myself I enjoyed it a lot :)
Kinda tough spot to find but nice atmosphere around. Great fusion food, I had a spicy chicken there it was lovely as. I will go back soon for one of those spicy chickens and fresh orange crush.
Hooked on the food of this new cafe serving Japanese fusion food since opening for business this week. The Korean fried chicken (4 flavours), tofu salad, pork sandwich are the best we have tasted.
